Into the Wild Outdoors was born from a simple but powerful truth: some of the most life-changing conversations don’t happen in buildings, they happen in God’s creation.

Long before Into the Wild Outdoors was a 501c3 nonprofit, it was a calling God gave me. Time spent in the outdoors revealed something that couldn’t be ignored. When people step away from distractions and into the field, the woods, streams, rivers, or around a campfire, they listen differently. They open up. They ask real questions. And they’re ready to grow.

What started as teaching outdoor skills, how to shoot, hunt, fish, hike, and camp, quickly became something more. Each moment in the outdoors naturally mirrored deeper lessons about life and faith. Patience learned through archery. Responsibility learned through the handling of a firearm. Perseverance learned on the trail during a hike. Humility learned around a fire under the stars.

Again and again, it became clear: the outdoors wasn’t just a setting; it was a classroom God was already using.

Into the Wild Outdoors was founded to intentionally step into that space, combining outdoor adventure with biblical truth to disciple hearts in Christ. Not through lectures, but through relationships. Not by separating faith from action, but by living it out side by side.

From youth who had never held a bow, to families longing for meaningful connection, people began showing up not knowing what to expect, and leaving changed. Confidence grew. Purpose emerged. Faith took root.

Today, Into the Wild Outdoors exists to equip the next generation with both practical life skills and a strong spiritual foundation. Every arrow drawn, trigger pulled, line cast, trail hiked, and fire built is done with purpose, pointing people to Jesus and preparing them to lead boldly and live faithfully.

This ministry was founded on the belief that when people encounter God in His creation, guided by mentors who walk the walk, lives are transformed. That belief continues to shape everything we do.
